- Welcome -
-
Only Dudley (PSA) Stamped balls are allowed.
-
No regular inning starts more than 70 minutes after the first pitch. “Buffet” or “Open” inning will follow.
-
Mercy Rule: 15 runs after 4 innings, 10 runs after 5 innings.
-
“Flip Flop” rule in effect.
-
Bases are 70ft. Pitching area is the width of the pitcher’s plate and up to 10ft behind the pitcher's plate.
-
Teams are designated by age and ONLY Major & AAA. If you have a major player on your roster, then your team will play major.
-
Home Run Limits: 6 per game.
-
Five run limit per inning in all categories.
-
Equalizer Rule: Lower Ranked team gets choice of 11th fielder or “bonus” 5 runs per game. Runs are distributed as follows: 1 additional run innings 2nd-6th. The higher ranked team automatically becomes the home team.
-
Pitching motion arc 6ft-10ft. Pitching motion fluid (no fake or hesitation pitches). Umpires shall verbally and visually call “illegal” pitches.
-
Third base commitment line shall be marked 30 feet from home plate. Once a runner has crossed the commitment line, he may not return to third base and must continue home and can no longer be tagged out by an opposing player, making every play a “force play” at home plate.
-
A base runner’s foot must be down, “on” or “past” the scoring line prior to the ball being received by the catcher to result in the scoring of a run. Meanwhile the defensive player must have his/her foot in contact with the home plate mat, and the ball secure, to register an out.
-
Players may not slide or dive into home plate / scoring line.
-
Pitchers must use a face mask to participate.
-
Teams may bat unlimited batters as long as they appear on official roster. If a team bats unlimited batters, they may not drop below that number of batters throughout the game. Should an offensive player become injured and unable to continue, he shall be declared out only the first time his position comes to bat in the batting order. After that, his spot is simply skipped over. If a player is ejected, his spot becomes an out EVERY time his spot comes up in the batting order.
-
Teams 65 and older play with 11 defensive players
-
Team Classification Guidelines:
-
A team’s age category is determined by the age of its youngest player. Teams must register online as Major or AAA. The tournament has full discretion to adjust rankings based on a team’s performance and history as necessary.
-
Teams must be prepared to play 30 mins prior to the scheduled start time or will forfeit homefield advantage. Teams not prepared to play at start of game will forfeit.
